The House of Medics Skin of Colour Dermatology Conference was a day of learning from experts in dermatology. In honour of black history month, we gathered doctors, students, nurses, aestheticians, skin enthusiasts and more to learn more about dermatological conditions in skin of colour.

Lectures given included:

  • Cosmetic solutions for managing dermatological conditions in Skin of Colour by Emma Kamara-Sesay

  • Colourism, and what every dermatologist should know by Dr Emma Amoafo-Mensah

  • What you should know about Afro-textured hair and hair loss by Dr Yemi Bello

  • Keynote Lecture by Dr Marisa Taylor, Consultant Dermatologist
